A Rolls-Royce is about to glide past you, turning heads as it silently coasts on by. But as you stare in awe at it, what is the main thing that stands out to you? Apart from its bold, stunning demeanour and its Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, the main thing that shouts out that a Rolls-Royce is approaching is its unique sparkling grille shining like a set of beautifully perfect teeth straight at you, causing you to stop, stare and admire the beauty before you.
Rolls-Royce cars are luxury in its entirety, mainly because each individual car is handcrafted from the finest materials the world has to offer. On average, the body of a Rolls-Royce Phantom takes 800 man-hours to complete. This hard work and dedication spans all aspects of the Rolls-Royce and there are some very interesting facts about the grille specifically that not many Rolls-Royce lovers are aware of.
The main fact about the Rolls-Royce radiator grille is quite hard to believe as each Rolls-Royce grille looks completely perfect, with not one part out of place or bent. But, surprisingly and impressively, each Rolls-Royce grille is made entirely by hand and eye co-ordination – no measuring instrument at all is used in ensuring each bar is perfectly formed, in proportion to the next and perfectly spaced. The grille itself takes one man one whole day to make, and then a further five hours are spent polishing it to Rolls-Royce perfection.
The Rolls-Royce grille was only registered as a trademark in 1974 although people have associated the unique Rolls-Royce grille with the brand for a long time.
It’s all this kind of attention to detail which makes Rolls-Royce one of the most luxurious car brands around, with celebrities, politicians and other high-profile people the world over making this their car of choice.

We all knew it had to be coming, but finally we know it’s true: Rolls-Royce have been hard at work producing the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupéwhich is set to debut, it is rumoured, in 2014.
Whilst being test-driven in Germany very recently, the paps managed to get a few pictures of the disguised luxury sports car and even under its cover, some of its key features were easily recognisable as a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
The rear-hinged doors are of the same design as the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé, the two-door version of the luxurious Phantom. Arguably, the giveaway is the shutline at the leading edge of the door, which arcs down the bodyside and back along the door sill in a graceful way that is only captured this way by Rolls-Royce.
The by-product of the Phantom Coupé amalgamated with the Ghost also revealed the Ghost’s sport proportions with a streamlined windscreen and flowing roofline; all on all, giving off a much more dynamic and aggressive look than the Phantom Drophead Coupé.
With a wheelbase reduced by around 150mm and a rear overhang that is much tighter gives the impression that the Ghost Coupé will be just over five metres long.
At Phantom Finder, we love both the Rolls-Royce Ghost and we love the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé which is why we’re very excited for when Rolls-Royce will officially unveil their new undoubted beauty upon the world. Until then we can only imagine and we guess we, along with the rest of the world, will just have to wait and see!

Wow! Even we’re in shock here at Phantom Finder, coming across the news that a Rolls-Royce car has been sold at almost a record-breaking, ground-shaking five million pounds! Sheeeeesh, that certainly is a lot of money for a purchase. Let’s look at how and why…
The unique Silver Ghost dates back 100 years, and there is no other car of its type still around. Being sold back then for around £1,000, the car went under the hammer at the Bonham’s sale at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in an auction that has been described as “pure theatre”. The sale was long and drawn out as the two bidding enthusiasts went up in inclinations of £100,000 at a time, as standers-by and lookers-on watched with drawn breath in hushed tones. Finally the sale came to a rest at a whopping £4,705,500 making this Silver Ghost the most expensive Rolls-Royce ever sold at auction!
Sold after the death of its previous owner, the famed US collector John O’Quinn, the vintage type vehicle is still capable of cruising at 50 or 60 mph and still has its headlights, carriage lights, rear lights, inflatable tyres and still runs practically silently. The car fetched way more at auction than even experts predicted, with them being confident it would take at least two million pounds. However, no one even though it would nearly hit the five million mark so this is massive news.
Back in the days when this Silver Ghost was made, coach builders would be employed to build the bodywork and coach line while only the engine and chassis was sold by Rolls-Royce. The first owner of this Silver Ghost hired only the best coach builders at the time which has helped in this car lasting to the present day; other Rolls-Royces of this age have lost their coachwork over time. The quality that the Silver Ghost has retained is so great that a toy was made based on it in the 1960’s giving this car the nickname ‘The Corgi Rolls-Royce’.
Its history is rich interesting and its future looks set to be even more so! This Rolls-Royce will be celebrating its centenary with a brand new anonymous owner and who knows, another hundred years may pass and it may be selling for triple or more of what it did this week. Long live The Corgi!
Once again, the brunette beauty who is famous for, well, who knows what exactly, is making all the headlines! Firstly for her new found love affair with rapper and producer, Kanye West, and now for her brand new ride… Yes, Kim Kardashian has just bought herself a brand new gloss black Rolls-Royce Ghost!
Making the purchase only last week, the world quickly found out about it via social networking site Twitter, the starting point from which all gossip seems to leak out to the universe nowadays. Ditching her old white Rolls-Royce Ghost, Kim opted for this brand new two-toned and gloss black model and we have to say, it actually kind of suits her!
A shop known for servicing celebrity cars, Platinum Motorsports, did the exterior of the Rolls-Royce and this is the same company that matted Kanye West’s Lamborghini. Clearly Kim K’s been taking tips from her new boyfriend and they’ve certainly paid off as this black Rolls-Royce Ghost is gorgeous (although we would say that because we are pretty biased when it comes to Rollers).
While we’re on the subject, Kim recently treated her new flame to a new ride too, a $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador (which Kanye has already had altered by the way). It must be quite difficult for them as a couple trying to decide which car to ride in to wherever it is that celebrity couples go to on dates… Whatever they choose, both these rides are definitely HOT and Kim gets a massive thumbs up from Phantom Finder for her great taste in cars! We’re now just anticipating her next one…

Rolls-Royce was founded way back in 1906, when regularly on the road you would see horses and carts, or horses and carriages if you were one of the elite. Cars were something of a rarity and Rolls-Royce as a company did not build a complete car until after the Second World War. However, until then Rolls-Royce created only the chassis of their Rolls-Royce Motors with the body being added by outside coachbuilders in the customer’s preference.
What you’ll be surprised to learn is that the first 10hp Rolls-Royces, what the first Rolls-Royce’s were known as, were sold for just around £395 each. That is absolutely nothing nowadays, but back then of course it was much more than what it is now.
Now, the Rolls-Royce Motors brand is a world-wide phenomenon, affordable only by the top few percent of the population who are able to buy and run a Rolls-Royce car comfortably. The Rolls-Royce is the car of celebrities, royalty and diplomats all around the world. With some of the slickest bodywork you’ll ever see coupled with an utterly beautiful exterior as well as a completely luxurious interior, Rolls-Royce cars are some of the most wanted in the world. At one point a Rolls-Royce cost just under £400… now, the cheapest you will find starts at around £250,000 with customised models riding up to over £1million!
That’s okay for some but for the rest of us there’s Phantom Finder, allowing us to experience the Rolls-Royce experience at least one time in our lifetime. Contact us today to begin your experience now!
The highly-anticipated new Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II has officially arrived to the Middle East where it will be premiered, after having first been unveiled in the region at Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer for Rolls-Royce cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The changes made to the Rolls-Royce Phantom in the Phantom II series are significant but can easily go unnoticed which is why close attention must be paid. The car comes with a brand new bumper, full adaptive LED headlights and an array of LED lights shaped in a rectangle replacing the old circle of supplemental light.
Some would say that although still very grandiose, the new Phantom II series has a slightly more informal look and presence, placing more emphasis on the driving aspect. This is done through replacing the old transmission for a new eight-speed automatic giving fuel economy a boost in the process. The interior, still as plush and luxurious as ever, has an updated sat-nav and infotainment system bringing it up-to-date with modern technology. It also includes a larger 8.8-inch screen, a new controller and a brand new feature called ‘guided tours’ – it all sounds very exciting!
A spokesperson for Rolls-Royce Motors said on the Phantom II Series,
“The Phantom Series II design broadens the appeal of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, attracting individuals who appreciate its fusion of ultimate refinement, and cutting-edge technology.”
Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors said,
“We are delighted and honoured to premiere the highly anticipated Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II in the region. This pinnacle of automotive excellence is attracting great interest and will without a doubt contribute to the continued success of Rolls-Royce in the UAE. As the best performing Rolls-Royce dealer and the best Rolls-Royce Phantom family seller in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi Motors continually delivers excellence – from our unsurpassed vehicles, to the quality of service we provide our uncompromising clientele.”
We really look forward to the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Series coming to the UK, and we’ll be right there to update you every step of the way!
Reality TV star, model and television personality Scott Disick was recently spotted driving around the streets of California in a baby blue Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, worth $500,000!
Most famous for starring in Keeping up with the Kardashians and being long term boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian and father to the youngest Kardashian, Mason, Disick has not kept his love for luxury cars a secret. The 29 year old recently purchased a chrome-plated Audi R8 with 20” gloss black Freddo-M wheels from the Monoleggera series as well as a matte black Range Rover in February. He’s been spotted driving around in a Lamborghini Murcielago and our favourite, a black Rolls-Royce Phantom in the past, and is well-known for his love of luxury motors.
Fans of the reality TV show may remember a massive clash between Disick and girlfriend Kourtney, when he bought a $245,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost to impress some business clients in one episode, so it’s most probable that this baby blue Phantom convertible may well be Disick’s next new toy to add to his already impressive collection. His love for the Rolls-Royce brand is evidently apparent and we don’t blame him, as we kind of love it a little bit too!
The white Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is available through Phantom Finder for chauffeur-driven hire too, allowing you a taste of the Kardashian lifestyle. Contact us today!
